Wednesday the Georgia Chamber of Commerce kicked off the 16th annual Team Georgia Chamber campaign, a statewide effort that has generated over $20 million or the organization since its inception in 1997. The campaign is designed to educate business leaders throughout the state about the importance and impact of the Chamber’s advocacy efforts and recruit those companies to be active members of the organization.
“We have a determined group of campaign leaders and volunteers working to make the 2012 campaign our most successful one yet,” said 2012 Team Georgia Chamber campaign chair Steve Green. “With another tremendous legislative session, a fantastic lineup of events around the state, and exciting new member programs, businesses continue to see the great return on their investment in the Georgia Chamber.”
This year, over 400 volunteers across the state representing 30 different companies will be working to recruit new members, encourage renewals, and increase sponsorship and advertising revenues to support the Georgia Chamber’s operating budget.
