Representation where it really counts. We are your lobbyist.
• At the Georgia General Assembly, before laws are passed, when hearings are
held and during debate, Georgia Chamber lobbyists are there. These
government affairs professionals monitor activity, alert members to pending
action, solicit input and fight to protect the strong pro-business climate that
has been so good for our state.
• Working closely with Georgia’s elected officials, constantly communicating the
importance of the role of the business community to our state’s growth and
development.
• Talking directly with Georgia’s delegation in the U.S. Congress, making sure
they understand how national policy affects business in Georgia.
Creating good jobs and new customers for Georgia businesses.
• In conjunction with state and local economic development professionals, the
state chamber brings new business (and new customers) to Georgia. Just
since 1989, programs such as the Red Carpet Tour and Fall Feather Hunt
have generated more than 3 billion dollars in new investments and
thousands of new jobs for Georgians.
• Just as important as new business growth, the Georgia Chamber focuses on
existing industry through its Existing Industry Committee, building a climate
for job growth and expansion.
Member growth opportunities.
• Network with fellow members, business leaders and elected officials at the
Annual Dinner, Congressional Luncheon, Eggs & Issues Breakfast, pre and
post legislative listening sessions and regional councils located in every part
of the state.
• Stay informed on business issues with complimentary subscriptions to the
Profile, the official publication of the Georgia Chamber and Georgia Trend
magazine, and on legislative issues with emails and bulletins during the
legislative session.

business issues with the Legislative Voting Reference.
• Join a Georgia Chamber committee.
