For three years, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce has urged the Georgia General Assembly to give our citizens the power to make their commutes shorter, their roads safer, and their economy stronger. Today, the House and Senate are closer than they ever have been to an agreement that will meet the needs of our state - one that can be used to fund all modes, will include local involvement in project selection, and will let regions decide for themselves if they want to invest in transportation projects.
