Top fundraisers earn reward trip This past January, 27 Team Georgia Chamber volunteers boarded a plane and traded near record-low Georgia temperatures for the warm beaches of Puerto Rico. This getaway wasn't any old trip, though - this was the reward for producing $778,000, or 42%, of the total $1,839,864 produced in the Team Georgia Chamber '09 campaign. The group stayed at the Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa in Rio Grande, and enjoyed five days/four nights on the island. Team members attended daily campaign wrap-up sessions and mapped out strategies for 2010, but they also made time to relax and explore the resort and surrounding areas. On the last night of the trip, team members and guests traveled to CocoRio, where a dinner sponsored by Georgia Power Company was served in a rainforest setting and volunteers were recognized for their hard work and effort. Suzanne Sitherwood, 2010 Chair (Atlanta Gas Light) served as the Team Georgia Chamber '09 Campaign Chair. Sitherwood was assisted by co-chairs Ernest L.
