Southwest Georgia Set to Host 2009 Georgia Quail Hunt
The Georgia Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 21st Annual Georgia Quail Hunt in conjunction with the Georgia Allies, the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce and the Southwest Georgia Chamber Council February 4-6, 2009 in Albany.
Since its inception in 1915, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce has been committed to bringing new business to Georgia. Economic development initiatives are important for Georgia. New business brings new jobs for Georgians, more money to invest in the state and a variety of other opportunities for Georgians. It is a winning combination.
Much like the Red Carpet Tour, the Georgia Quail Hunt focuses on building relationships with potential investors in the state. Representatives from companies all over the world, and existing companies already in Georgia, are invited to enjoy three days of southern hospitality and some of the finest quail hunting in the nation. Many of these companies do eventually make Georgia their home and continue to expand in Georgia. Since 1994, guests from previous Hunts have invested $1.25 billion in Georgia and have created more than 7,400 new jobs for Georgians.
Dr. J. David Allen, Founder & President, Dr. J. David Allen & Associates, Consultants To the Healthcare Industry, will chair the 2009 Georgia Quail Hunt.
