Get Your Tickets Today for the "State of the Ports" Luncheon on September 17
There's still time to purchase your tickets for the Atlanta "State of the Ports" address on September 17 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.  Hosted by the Georgia Ports Authority and the Georgia Chamber, the event will educate leaders around the state about the importance and economic impact of Georgia's deepwater ports, which play a crucial role in international commerce for our state and the entire nation.  Curtis Foltz, Executive Director of Georgia Ports Authority, will provide a year-in-review of the Georgia Ports and discuss how the Ports benefit our state and Atlanta, specifically.  Tickets are $45 for Georgia Chamber members and $55 for non-members.  Tables of 10 are also available for $400 per table.  Seating is limited, so click here to purchase your tickets today!



Register Today for a Free Judicial Candidates Forum on September 23
How much do you know about the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court candidates running for competitive seats in November?  Georgia Chamber members are sure to appreciate the unique chance to become familiar with these candidates on September 23 at a forum held at Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan in Atlanta. The forum will be in a panel-discussion format and moderated by columnist Jim Wooten.  The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Court of Appeals candidates, followed by lunch and the Supreme Court candidates panel.  Please RSVP to Ginger McNeight at gmcneight@gachamber.com if you would like to attend. Join the Georgia Chamber on October 4 at the Business Champions Golf Classic
The third annual Georgia Chamber Business Champions Golf Classic will be held on October 4 at the Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta.  Golfers will have the choice of playing on one of two renowned 18-hole golf courses, and all golfers will receive a fore-caddy, cart, continental breakfast, practice facility/range balls, lunch and awards reception. Team levels start with the foursome level, which includes all amenities listed above.  Silver, Gold and Platinum sponsors will receive their company logo placed throughout the tournament and special recognition in the programs and at the awards presentation.  Companies are also encouraged to consider joining the event as a cart or special contest sponsor.
