Keeping workers safe is of paramount importance to any business owner. And as the leading voice of business in this state, the Chamber makes workplace safety a priority issue in our advocacy and policy efforts. The Chamber supports safe, productive work environmnets which are conducive to efficiencies, morale and speed-to-market, and which avoid costly litigation.
We are proud that many Georgia businesses and Chamber members, in addition to compliance with a myriad of state and federal regulations, rules, inspections and review, also voluntarily adopt and adhere to standards that meet or exceed federal and state requirements.
The Chamber wants to encourage this level of commitment without burdening business with undue regulations that can be costly to implement, report and maintain, in addition to bringing economic disadvantages.
