Winning Today’s Business Competition by Advancing Civil Justice Reform

On August 16^th, the GCC will host its Inaugural Civil Justice Forum.  As a result of the economic downturn, diminished corporate growth opportunities underscore the necessity of ensuring that Georgia remains competitive with other states to attract new business.  The forum will serve as a platform to demonstrate the importance of civil justice reform in Georgia and how we can repair the legal system’s barriers to business growth and development.  

• an examination of how Georgia can improve its legal climate to better compete for business growth and economic development; 
• an observation of worrisome litigation trends and the costs to business; 
• a look back at the history of civil justice reform in Georgia; 
• an assessment of reforms in other states; and 
• an analysis of how Georgia can makes its laws equitable to all parties.  

Parking:

Self Parking is strongly encouraged –
$3.00 for the first hour
$1.00 each additional 30 minutes
$14.00 a day maximum

Valet –
$15.00 Visitor rate for the day.
