Launched in 2008, the Georgia Initiative is a planned five-year transformation that is benefiting Chamber members through enhanced communications, improved technology, a robust grassroots network, comprehensive research, and member-led policy committees.
The ultimate goal of the Georgia Initiative is to ensure the Georgia Chamber of Commerce has the resources necessary to play a proactive role with issues that will positively impact the state's economic climate and quality of life.
While the Chamber effectively advocated on behalf of business for many years, this effort has helped the Chamber increase its impact and relevance through the proactive development of data-driven solutions.
With the strong support of over 80 key investors, the Georgia Initiative allowed the Chamber to hire key staff, activate its policy committees, build its brand awareness, and implement new technologies to provide better service for our membership and stronger leadership for the state's business community.
The Georgia Initiative is just another way the Georgia Chamber of Commerce is committed to maintaining and advancing a pro-business environment in our state.
