Education Forums to be Offered for Local Candidates and Leaders

Each election year, the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education presents a half-day education policy primer for local school board and state legislative candidates and community leaders. This year’s program will be presented June 12- 20 in five Georgia communities. The Partnership is encouraging Georgia Chamber members to make sure their local candidates know about the events and encourage them to participate. The Education Policy Forum is broken into two parts; the first half focuses on current emerging issues that are certain to capture the attention of those interested in improving education while the second half is devoted toward the roles, responsibilities and issues specific to local school board candidates. To view the forum dates and to register, please click here. For more information, please visit the Georgia Partnership web site here or call 404-223-2280.
