If you have not done so already, please take a few minutes to complete a short survey, which will play a large role in directing the agenda for the regional meetings this summer and ultimately developing our state’s economic development strategy. This is an important opportunity for the business community to give its input in a number of key areas and we thank you in advance for your participation.

Georgia Chamber Human Resource Manuals – Pre-sale Extended Until June 3
The Georgia Chamber of Commerce has recently published the 2011 Model Policies and Forms for Georgia Employers, your one-stop guide to assembling a comprehensive employee handbook. It features necessary forms, sample policies and commentary so you know what to do, how to do it, and why. When your employees know your rules and expectations, you limit miscommunication and keep things running smoothly.
This publication will help you answer questions such as:
• Do I need to grant paid time off for jury duty?
• What paperwork is required for family and medical leave?
• What should I include in my bereavement leave policy?
• Which employers are covered by the Pregnancy Leave Act?
• What should I include in my vacation and holiday leave policies?
This manual is regularly priced at $120 for Georgia Chamber members. However, when you purchase the Model Policies and Forms and its companion publication, Georgia Human Resources Manual, by June 3 you will receive both books for $126.40. That’s $66 off the regular price.
In addition to getting the books, you’ll also get free digital copies of the publications so you can easily personalize and print policies and forms as needed.

Gain Great Exposure for Your Business by Supporting Georgia Chamber Events
The Georgia Chamber's annual events and programs are a great way to get your business in front of a large and diverse group of statewide business and community leaders. Donating gifts to our events offers your business a unique opportunity to gain statewide exposure with little to no cost for you. The 15th annual statewide membership campaign, Team Georgia Chamber, along with the Power Lunch series both kick off in June and draw hundreds of attendees from all corners of the state. Both programs have several events scheduled over the next several months. In addition to these programs, the fourth annual Georgia Chamber Business Champions Classic golf tournament, held in early October, attracts key business leaders annually.
Show your support for the Georgia Chamber's most valuable programs by donating prizes, merchandise, gift certificates, event tickets, or cash. Cash donations will be used to offset expenses and all prizes and gifts will be awarded to our volunteers and attendees. Use this great opportunity to give your business a statewide presence.
Click HERE to download the Call for Gifts Donation Form. Please return the form and donation by June 3 to have your company's name recognized in event promotion materials. You may also reply to this e-mail or call Melanie Jordan directly at 404-223-2476 for further details.
Thank you for your continued support of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
