The Georgia Chamber's newest investor service, the Georgia Chamber Exchange, is an online marketplace exclusive to Georgia Chamber members. National Small Business Week: May 20-26
National Small Business Week will be held May 20-26. The Georgia Chamber's Small Business Council is excited to highlight many small business investors and services during this week. Particularly, the Council is seeking small business leaders to share their stories about what Georgia Chamber membership and services have meant to their business. National Defense Industry Association to Visit Moody Air Force Base
On May 15, the National Defense Industry Association - Georgia Chapter - will hold a meeting hosted by the 23rd Wing & Base Leadership of Moody AFB in Valdosta. The 23rd Wing organizes, trains and employs combat-ready A-10, HC-130 and HH-60 pararescuemen and force protection assets and personnel consisting of approximately 6,000 military and civilian personnel. The wing executes worldwide close air support, force protection and personnel recovery operations in support of humanitarian interests, United States national security and overseas contingency operations. HomeSafe Georgia Campaign
The Georgia Department of Community Affairs and the Georgia Department of Labor have launched a campaign to increase public awareness of HomeSafe Georgia, a program that provides mortgage assistance to the unemployed and underemployed. The campaign will kick off with a public information session on Saturday, May 12 in Carrolton for residents in the West Georgia region.
