SMART Plan Update

The Georgia Chamber and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield shaped a way for small businesses across Georgia to have access to more affordable healthcare by creating the Georgia Chamber SMART plan that launched in October 2018. The innovative health plan works to keep employees and their families healthy and connected to quality care by offering rate stability and potential savings to smaller employers.

We’re proud to announce that at the first of the year, there were already almost 800 companies taking advantage of the Georgia Chamber SMART Plan, providing about 8,000 lives with exceptional health and wellness programs across the state. Not only are these individuals financially protected, but they are also benefitting from exclusive options like predictable, fixed monthly payments, flexibility in choice of benefit plans and have access to choose from specialty offers, including dental, vision and life plans.

The Georgia Chamber SMART plan is available to employers that have at least two employees enrolled on their medical plan and no more than 50 eligible employees.
