Early Stages of Planning Underway for Fall Feather Hunt
The Georgia Chamber is preparing for one of the year's biggest events. The Fall Feather Hunt, which annually attracts corporate decision makers to learn about the state's vibrant business community, will be held December 8-10, 2004, in southwest Georgia.
World class quail hunting and southern hospitality-two things for which Georgia is renowned-are the centerpiece of this soft-sell event, which lets guests see the best the state has to offer. Several of Georgia's most pristine and beautiful plantations serve as a backdrop for the Fall Feather Hunt.
The Georgia Chamber, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Albany Area Chamber, the Southwest Georgia Chamber Council and Georgia Allies partner to host the Fall Feather Hunt.
Over the past several years, guests on the Fall Feather Hunt have announced plans to expand operations and create new jobs. Since 1988, Fall Feather Hunt guests have announced more than $2 billion in new or expanded investments and created more than 12,000 jobs statewide.
