The Georgia General Assembly is considering placing a constitutional amendment before voters in the 2012 general election that if adopted would restore an alternative route for approving and sustaining charter schools in Georgia.
House Speaker Pro Tem Jan Jones - author of this legislation - spoke with the Georgia Chamber on the importance of restoring this approval method for the state's business community and future workforce development.
