For many of the state’s counties, economic prosperity has dwindled and many of these communities are slowly dying. Recent data clearly identified that over 1/3 of rural Georgia counties will lose population over the coming years. The Georgia Chamber is committed to finding meaningful long-term solutions for the rural part of the state. We can’t have a healthy economy if over half of our counties lose population and close hospitals. We hope the opening of our rural office will help us address rural issues as we focus on strengthening the economy.

We’re excited to announce that the grand opening of our new office in Tifton, Georgia is right around the corner. On May 15, 2017, we want you to be a part of this historic moment as we open our first regional office in 102 years.

Our Tifton office is the first of many steps as we continue to discover and work towards finding realistic solutions to improving rural economic prosperity. Don’t forget to save the date and join us for this momentous celebration. The grand opening address is 1001 Love Avenue, Tifton, GA 31794. We can’t wait to see you there!
