2024 INCREASED MEMBERSHIP DUES
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is this being implemented now?
For nearly a decade, we have maintained our membership dues at the same level. During this time, the business landscape has evolved significantly, and the costs associated with providing our services and initiatives have also risen. Our Board of Directors approved this membership increase to ensure we can continue delivering valuable resources, fierce advocacy, and exceed our members’ expectations.
Why are dues increasing?
The Georgia Chamber’s mission has always been to address the most pressing concerns and priorities for our business community. This increase facilitates our continued work to help maintain Georgia’s ranking as the #1 State to Do Business, grow the economy across our state, and provide outstanding resources and programming for our members.
When will the increase go into effect?
For our existing members, the increase begins on January 1, 2024 and will appear on your renewal invoice upon your existing renewal date. For new members the increase went into effect January 1, 2023.
Will this impact what I get with my membership?
The additional investment enables us to expand innovative programming, such as the Future of Workforce Summit, and provide deeper dive econometric research that members can use in making informed business decisions. We will continue to provide the exemplary programming, resources, and assertive business advocacy at the Georgia Capitol and in Washington, D.C. for our members.
Will small businesses still have a seat at the table?
Absolutely! Our health insurance plans and retirement exchange were designed as valuable resources for Georgia’s small business owners. The Chamber’s Small Business Advisory Council is also an impactful way to share your input, network, and support other entrepreneurs across the state.
