Engage Ventures received government funding in support of their newly established program with Georgia Institute of Technology. Engage Ventures is a mentorship-driven venture program that was created nationally to encourage entrepreneurship through the power of innovative technology.

With a focus on high-tech startups and market access strategies, Invest Georgia allocated its fourth investment of $1.5 million to Engage Ventures.

The Invest Georgia program was established through the City of Atlanta, global corporations, and the Atlanta Committee for Progress. Through this partnership $15 million in funding will be distributed to connect Georgia’s startup networks with global enterprises. The program is designed to connect business communities, global leadership, and state universities. Engage Ventures is predicted to create nearly 50 start-up companies within its first 3 years.

Atlanta is home to many of our nation’s most prominent fortune 500 companies, Engage Ventures has received corporate investor support from 10 founding companies. Through their leadership, expertise, and resources the program will attract and retain new businesses and talent, as well as create long term opportunities for economic development.
