The Talent and Leadership committee focuses on policies and initiatives that address talent and workforce challenges that are being seen across the state as the economy evolves and explore innovative ways to address those issues. In 2018, the Georgia Chamber High Potentials leadership program was launched which provides participants with an opportunity to understand their role within the broader organization enabling them to effectively and authentically represent their company in external environments. This program is only open to Georgia Chamber member companies. This committee meets quarterly.

In 2019, the committee plans to focus on: Barriers to post-secondary success for Georgians; Skills needed for the workforce of the future; Georgia Chamber High Potentials Leadership Program; Early childhood education as a workforce issue; and Strategies to retain talent.

Georgia Chamber Policy Committee meetings are exclusive and by invitation only.
