Join the Georgia Chamber in welcoming its newest member, The Latin American Association.

As the state’s longest serving and largest nonprofit organization, the LAA has provided immigration and legal services to Latino communities in Georgia since 1972. In addition to resources such as emergency relief and employment services, LAA sponsors a variety of programs that focus on self-improvement, women empowerment, mentorship, and adult education. The organization regularly hosts citizenship drives, community forums, and health fairs.

With outreach centers located in Atlanta, Athens, and Lawrenceville over 40,000 immigrants have benefited from their services and programs. With an emphasis on servanthood and advocacy, their five areas of focus include culture & engagement, economic empowerment, education, family well-being, and immigration.

In their mission to “empower Latinos to adapt, integrate, and thrive,” the Latin American Association has turned the American dream into reality for thousands of Georgia immigrants. We look forward to representing the Latin American Association in their quest to provide “opportunity for all!”
