ATLANTA – In its latest Global Trade Briefing, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce announced that Georgia delivered another year of exceptional international trade growth in 2025, reaching $210.7 billion in total trade activity and reinforcing the state’s position as a global commerce leader. This marks a 5.8% increase over the previous year and places Georgia 7th in the nation for total trade volume.

Exports led the charge with $60.2 billion, rising an impressive 12.7% year over year — more than double the national export growth rate of 5.6%. That growth pushed Georgia to 9th nationally in exports in 2025, while expanding its international footprint to 213 global markets.

Top Five Nations Driving Georgia’s Global Momentum:

  1. | Mexico – $29.8B
  2. | South Korea – $17.6B
  3. | China – $15.8B
  4. | Canada – $13.3B
  5. | Germany – $13.1B

These five partners alone accounted for more than one‑third of all Georgia trade activity, underscoring the state’s embedded role in global manufacturing and supply chain networks.

High‑Value Products Lead Export Growth:

  1. | Civilian aircraft & parts – $16.4B
  2. | Computers, hardware & storage units – $4.4B
  3. | Motor vehicles – $3.9B

These sectors remain critical engines for Georgia’s innovation economy, driving job creation and fueling downstream growth in the logistics and supply chain services.

Daniela Perry, Executive Director of the Georgia Chamber Foundation, said:

“Georgia continues to achieve strong, steady economic growth. This is directly attributed to Governor Kemp’s leadership and our long-standing partnerships around the globe that continue to produce increased opportunity and prosperity for Georgians.”
