Georgia Chamber Board of Directors Nominations Due September 23

ATLANTA – Today, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce announced that nominations to serve on the organization’s 2025 Board of Directors are due Monday, September 23 by 5:00PM. Nominations must be submitted using this link, and self-nominations are permitted.  

The Georgia Chamber Board of Directors serves as the organization’s governing body, providing critical guidance, collectively and individually, throughout the year. Current members of the Board of Directors who are in good standing do not need to apply for 2025 Board membership. Once the slate of the Board of Directors is approved, ballots will be sent to the current Board of Directors on October 15.  

Requirements to serve on the Georgia Chamber Board of Directors include but are not limited to:  

  • Maintain an annual investment with the Georgia Chamber of at least $6,000  
  • Attend at least one Georgia Chamber Board of Directors meeting annually  
  • Attend at least one other Georgia Chamber event during the year 
  • Serve as an advocate for the Georgia Chamber 
  • Act on the Chamber's behalf as needed
