Press Release
ATLANTA – The Georgia Chamber of Commerce has earned a strong positive standing among likely Georgia voters, with a +13 net favorable rating, according to new statewide polling conducted by Cygnal.
Among those tested in the survey, the Chamber’s +13 net favorable standing ranks second only to Governor Brian P. Kemp, who recorded the strongest net-positive standing at +17. The survey also found the Georgia Chamber has excellent image recognition, with 91% of likely voters having heard of the organization.
Economic development earned a +15 net favorable rating, reflecting the importance Georgians place on a strong and growing economy. With affordability, rising costs, jobs, and economic opportunity among the top issues shaping voters’ concerns, the findings reinforce the importance of the Chamber’s work to promote economic growth and advance policies that support Georgia’s long-term competitiveness.
Chris Clark, President & CEO, Georgia Chamber, said:
“This poll reflects the important role the Georgia Chamber plays in bringing people together around the issues that matter most to Georgia’s future. Our members are working every day to strengthen Georgia’s economy, create opportunity in communities across our state, and ensure Georgia remains the best place to live, work, and build a business. We are grateful for the trust Georgians place in the Chamber and remain committed to earning that trust every day.”
The Chamber’s positive image extends across party lines, demonstrating the organization’s bipartisan appeal. Among Democrats, the Chamber earns a +12 net favorable rating, compared with +22 among Republicans.
Voters see the business community as having a meaningful influence. Twenty-seven percent said they would be more likely to support a candidate endorsed by the business community, compared with 15% who said they would be less likely. That influence is even more pronounced among swing voters, with 38% indicating they are likely to be influenced by a business community endorsement.
Conducted July 30-Aug. 2, 2026, the survey included likely Georgia general election voters statewide and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
