ATLANTA – Today, the Georgia Transportation Alliance (GTA) issued the following statement thanking Governor Brian Kemp for announcing more than $1 billion in new statewide infrastructure investment.
Georgia Transportation Alliance Executive Director Joseph Santoro said:
"The Georgia Transportation Alliance and our members applaud Governor Brian Kemp for his strong leadership driving Georgia's economic development through another historic $1 billion investment in transportation infrastructure. Georgia's booming economy results in more congestion across our transportation system, and increasing investment in freight, logistics, and local transportation networks has never been more critical to ensuring Georgia's sustained economic success. The GTA will continue working in partnership with Governor Kemp and the Georgia General Assembly to develop a sustainable, recurring transportation and infrastructure revenue source that is essential to keep Georgia’s economy moving.”
