In Remembrance: Susan Holmes

“The Georgia Chamber of Commerce is saddened by the passing of former State Representative Susan Holmes, a true public servant and business leader. As a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, she was an expert in workforce and rural development. Susan also made history as the first female mayor of Monticello and was a tireless champion for her beloved Downtown Monticello, which earned numerous awards during her tenure as mayor. The entire Holmes family—including her husband, Paul, who served as Chair of the Georgia Chamber, and their children—is in our thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time.”
