ATLANTA – Today, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and Synovus announced that nominations for the Coolest Thing Made in Georgia will open at 9:00 AM on June 2. Nominations are open to any Georgia-based company and must be submitted at gachamber.com/coolestthing.
Presented by Synovus, the Coolest Thing Made in Georgia is a new, statewide knock-out-style competition, designed to celebrate Georgia’s outstanding innovators.
Nominations will close at 5:00 PM on June 20, and the competition will be capped at 64 approved entrants. Once all nominations are approved, Georgians can cast their votes in the first round of the competition beginning at 9:00 AM on July 7, with voting closing at 5:00 PM on July 10. The winner will be determined through public voting, with the Coolest Thing Made in Georgia being announcement at the Georgia Chamber Congressional Luncheon in Columbus on August 20.
