Rivian Chooses Georgia For New Southern Presence

Atlanta, Georgia — December 16, 2021 — Governor Brian Kemp today announced that Rivian, one of the fastest-growing electric vehicle companies in the United States, is investing in an assembly plant within the boundaries of the Joint Development Authority of Jasper, Morgan, Newton & Walton Counties.

The proposed plant location is another major win for rural Georgia and the growing I-20 corridor.
