Matthew Gambill is a native of Cartersville, Georgia and a graduate of Cartersville High School.  Gambill received his B.A. in Political Science from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.  Since 2004, he has served as the Executive Director for the Georgia Association for Career & Technical Education.  He is married to the former Danae Roberts from Columbus, Georgia and together they have three children, Mary Harris (9), David (7), and James (2).  Gambill is a member of the Georgia Society of Association Executives, Georgia Economic Developers Association, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce, a graduate of the 2007 Leadership Bartow Class, a graduate of the 2010 Leadership Georgia Class, and selected by Georgia Trend Magazine for their 2012 “40 Under 40” publication.  Gambill serves on the board of directors for Indian Springs Holiness Campmeeting, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bartow County, the Boys and Girls Clubs Georgia Alliance, Past Chair of the Boys and Girls Clubs Georgia Area Council, and Past Chair of the Murphy-Harpst Children’s Home.
