Since our doors opened in May, the focus for our Rural Prosperity office in Tifton has been to serve the rural community through economic development initiatives and business networking opportunities. We are proud to have a presence in Tifton as a resource for local and rural businesses around the region.

Tuesday, May 27th, Georgia Chamber President and CEO Chris Clark met with community leaders and the rural prosperity council to discuss strategies on how to meet the needs of rural Georgia and other issues that threaten the future of economic mobility around the region. Our rural prosperity council will focus on four areas:

Rural Incentives
Defense Communities
Talent and Education
Homegrown Entrepreneurship

In addition to serving the local community, this office is also an option to host meetings, events and training sessions. The facility also has an executive conference room that seats 25 and a multipurpose room that can be arranged in classroom style seating or auditorium seating.

If you weren’t able to join us for our official grand opening, feel free to drop by the office and take advantage of this regional resource. Our Regional Manager, Molly Giddens is the liaison to local, state and federal officials and businesses.

If you’re in the Tifton area, schedule a visit to the office today!
