At the Georgia Chamber, we strive to promote a healthy business environment within our state. In doing so, we’ve collaborated with three organizations whose goal is to preserve the economic impact and development of Georgia for many years to come. Our three affiliates are collectively made up of the Georgians for Lawsuit Reform, the Georgia Travel Association, and the Georgia Transportation Alliance. The Chamber’s affiliation with these three organizations help foster a stable and thriving business environment for our great state.

On Wednesday, January 24, 2018, over 300 guests gathered to celebrate Georgia’s strong leadership and investment in transportation at the Georgia Transportation Alliance’s State of Transportation Breakfast. This year’s breakfast featured a discussion panel led by Senator Brandon Beach, and Representatives Kevin Tanner and Calvin Smyre.  Governor Deal served as the keynote speaker, as this event was the first of the year dedicated solely to transportation.    Following the breakfast, Gubernatorial candidates addressed their vison and concerns regarding infrastructure and mass transit. During the forum each candidate discussed the sacrifices and investments needed to improve transportation across the state.
