As one of the top three chambers in the nation, the Cobb Chamber continues to prove its dedication to bringing the community and its leaders together to create jobs and strengthen the economy in their region.

One way the Cobb Chamber continues to stand out is through their Military Family Support Center that’s made possible through a partnership with the Defense Commissary Agency, the Georgia Department of Defense, and Dobbins Air Reserve Base. This public-private partnership is the first of its kind in the nation, located in Marietta, Georgia.

Each month, the Center hosts a three-day sale, which draws an average of 1,000 shoppers. At each sale, the average number of items sold is over 38,800. The Center just celebrated their one-year anniversary at the end of May. For the anniversary celebration, volunteers organized food, refreshments, and health screenings for all veterans. Several local businesses donated their services for the event along with many special guests including Representative Earl Ehrhart and General Tom Blackstock.

The Georgia Chamber is a proud supporter of the Cobb Chamber and their continuous efforts in creating jobs, driving economic development, and connecting businesses all throughout our great state.
