Rosalyn Merrick is Georgia HEART Hospital Program’s Director of Stakeholder Engagement. In this role, she is responsible for strategically identifying, establishing, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with HEART’s partners, civic and community groups, public agencies, lawmakers, business leaders and members of the media.

Merrick’s nonprofit leadership and development career spans 17 years. Before joining HEART, Merrick held leadership positions at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School and The Ron Clark Academy where she was responsible for and achieved ground-breaking and challenging fundraising initiatives. Prior to that, Merrick served as the Vice-President of Major Gifts for the United Way of Greater Atlanta, managing ten direct reports and 40 volunteers, where she restructured the Major Gifts Department to create capacity to raise additional revenue from individuals, foundations, and government agencies.

Merrick graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University, with a BA in Journalism-Public Relations. She is a Georgia native and currently resides in Tucker with her husband, Damian, and sons, Cole and Jake.
