        Tax Reform

        Immigration Reform

        SUPPORT reforms that ensure a talented and qualified workforce to maintain and grow our economy and global competitiveness.

        Healthcare Access

        SUPPORT policies and legislation that provide increased flexibility for federal agencies to improve healthcare access through innovative state specific plans. Support the extension of the delay to any reduction in the Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) payments, which are crucial to the financial viability of our safety-net hospitals.

        Area Wage Index

        SUPPORT policies and legislation that provide fair and adequate Medicare wage index reimbursement to Georgia’s rural hospitals in a budget-neutral manner.

        Savannah Harbor Expansion

        SUPPORT the appropriation of federal funds needed to complete the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project.

        Criminal Justice Reform

        PROMOTE policies that expand and grow opportunity for individuals to become re-integrated into society. This includes supporting efforts that prepare individuals for re- entry into the workforce including skills development and access to higher education.

        Retailer Fairness

        SUPPORT policies and legislation that provide equal tax treatment of both brick and mortar and online retailers.

        Address Highway Trust Fund Shortfall

        SUPPORT efforts to sustain and enhance investments in transportation that move goods and people efficiently and effectively.

        Trade

        SUPPORT policies that provide opportunities for Georgia businesses to expand their market footprint through international trade. Oppose policies that negatively impact businesses and consumers. Promote the diversification of the supply chain through repatriating jobs to the U.S.

        Labor Relations

        OPPOSE policies that put Georgia businesses at a competitive disadvantage by placing restrictions on employer-employee relationships and contracts.

        Infrastructure

        SUPPORT policies that encourage growth and modernization of telecommunications and energy infrastructure.

        Environment

        SUPPORT reasonable regulations to rescind and rewrite EPA’s 2015 Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule and its Clean Power Plan.

        Agriculture

        SUPPORT policies that ensure continuity of benefits and provide predictability for producers throughout the state of Georgia. Support efficient distribution of disaster relief assistance to impacted producers.

        ENSURE fruit and vegetable producers are operating on a level playing field as they compete with growers around the globe.

        Protecting Georgia’s Military Bases & Defense Industry

        SUPPORT protecting the military installations in Georgia that have an economic impact on local and regional economies. Support the passage of a fully funded defense budget to provide predictability for the defense industry in Georgia.

        Budget

        SUPPORT the passage of an annual budget and regular appropriations bills, protect the standing of the dollar as the world’s primary reserve currency and avoid government shutdowns.

        Tax

        ADVOCATE for continued pro-growth tax policies in relevant tax legislation.

        Education and Workforce

        SUPPORT education and workforce development programs that provide the necessary skills for the jobs of the future. Reduce barriers to allow students to pursue higher education and skills development.

        Cybersecurity

        ENGAGE Congress and the Department of Homeland Security to expand liability protections to cover significant cyber incidents.

        ENACT a national consumer data privacy standard which will provide certainty and consistency to businesses and consumers alike without having to navigate a patchwork of inconsistent and constantly changing state laws.

        COVID-19 Relief 

        SUPPORT legislation that provides relief for industries and workers that have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing economic downturn.

        REDUCE regulations that limit the ability of already appropriated resources to be utilized by businesses, organizations, and individuals.

        ENACT federal COVID-19 liability protections that protect businesses against frivolous lawsuits to foster a strong economic recovery.

        PROVIDE for federal programs or other incentives to encourage additional U.S. manufacturing of PPE.
