The Georgia Chamber Endorses Karen Handel for Georgia’s 6th Congressional District

Atlanta, Georgia – Friday, September 25, 2020 – The Georgia Chamber joins the U.S. Chamber’s position to back Karen Handel for Georgia’s 6th Congressional District and announces its endorsement of Handel for the U.S. House of Representatives. After working through the endorsement process, business leaders from across the state are confident that Handel’s decades of business experience will lead to effective policy decisions to positively impact free enterprise and job creation in Georgia. “I’ve always fought for pro-business policies because they create good-paying jobs for Georgians. In Congress, I voted to pass the tax cuts and to cut regulations, and it led to the strongest economy in our nation’s history. Sixth District voters can trust me to do it again,” said Karen Handel. “Working withGeorgia’s business leaders, we will rebuild our economy, bring back jobs and save small businesses that have suffered during the COVID recession. I appreciate the support of Georgia’s business community, and together, we’ll keep Georgia the No. 1 state in the nation for business.”

“After careful consideration, our members believe there is a clear choice in the 6th District for who will champion economic development opportunities in D.C. for our state” said Chris Clark, Georgia Chamber President & CEO. “The Georgia Chamber is proud join the U.S. Chamber in endorsing pro-business candidates like Karen Handel and we look forward to working with her in Washington, if elected.” The general election will take place on November 3, 2020.
